Dress Up Your Sneakers

Sneakers are the ultimate go-anywhere wardrobe staple. They’ll take you everywhere from a yoga class to the farmers market, and even to the airport the next time you're boarding a flight. Sneakers are also a funky piece to wear with dresses-- and everything from cute summer sundresses to structured styles make my outfit list this spring.

When you're planning your "dressy casual" outfit, avoid anything too tight. Instead of body-con styles, reach for looser fits (like my Forever 21 frock). There's no frilly party dress that can't be improved with the addition of side-striped lace-ups! I'm totally digging these neutral-toned Vans from DSW. I can seriously wear them with anything! You can also play down the sweetness of a ladylike sheath with a slouchy bomber or jean jacket (like this lightweight Paige Denim jacket).
