This Sh*t is B-a-n-a-n-a-s

Hawaiian shirts aren’t just for 50-year-old Dads vacationing on a Carnival Cruise anymore. Tropical prints are everywhere and aren’t going away anytime soon. From flamboyant florals to larger-than-life lemons, these prints have taken over summer styles and are now transitioning into fall frocks. With Labor Day right around the corner signaling the start of fall, you may be asking yourself “how can I still wear my dope banana print pants?!”Never fear, you can still wear your dope banana print pants during buffalo chicken dip-eating season.I had been waiting for the right occasion to wear these Show Me Your MuMu culottes. A weekend trip to Rosemary Beach for a friend’s bachelorette was the perfect excuse to bust out these bad boys.I wanted these pants to be the focal point of my outfit, so I paired them with a black silky tank and black tassel sandals from LuLu’s. Keeping the color palate dark and neutral also helped with the summer to “fall” transition. For a more structured fall look, a denim or leather jacket would be a great addition for when those colder months come around. Even a cute pair of black or suede booties could replace an open-toed heel for a fall outfit option. These dark green tassel earrings were a total impulse buy from the Show Me Your MuMu Venice beach store a couple months back. They come in a rainbow of colors, so check their website for more styles!I refuse to let the spirit of summer slip away, so I plan on wearing my bold tropical prints for as long as possible. Don’t be afraid to extend your summer wardrobe- it’s definitely not bananas.Photos by Heather Etheridge Photography // Location: Rosemary Beach, FL // Pants // Earrings // Heels // Clutch // Bracelet // Ring // Top
