An intimate winter elopement at San Francisco City Hall

San Francisco City Hall is one of the most gorgeous places to elope in the Bay Area. Its grand, sprawling staircase and european-inspired architecture make the perfect backdrop for wedding ceremonies, both big and small.

One of the reasons I love a City Hall ceremony is because it’s really low-key (in a glamorous way, of course). Typically couples don’t feel the same pressure and stress as a big wedding, and can really focus on each other and the love that they feel throughout the day. Another reason? You can be as casual or as fancy as you want! Want to wear booties and a white jumpsuit? Great! Do you prefer a lace dress with a train and cathedral veil? Also great! It’s seriously the best.

Andika and Garret tied the knot in December in an intimate ceremony at the beautiful SF City Hall. Since their families could not attend in person, they improvised with Instagram Live to ensure everyone was included in their special day.

Here are a few of my favorite photos from their winter elopement.
